My name is Kayla Rushton. I have been on staff for three years as a reporter and social media manager. I enjoy writing features the most because I get to know new people and their stories. When I’m not writing a story, I like to dance and do strength training workouts. I have been dancing since I was five years old. I’m currently on the Silver Stars. I absolutely love getting to perform on the field on Friday nights. I’m also a member of the Dare 2 Dance Dance Company competition team. I like to push myself during strength training workouts and get sweaty. It feels like an accomplishment to finish a hard workout. Most importantly, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Every Monday, my mom and my sisters gather in the living room and watch the Bachelor. It’s my favorite show. Sometimes we have watch parties. I plan to attend the University of Arkansas next fall. I want to major in Dietitian and minor in business.
