Sophomore Josh Frazier was approached by Coach Allen, who shared with him that the Arkansas Razorback football program was ready to offer him an opportunity to play football at the University.
“I was actually offered in February, but I wasn’t told until last week,” said Frazier.
About a week or two before Coach Allen shared the news with Frazier Arkansas State had also offered him.
“Both Arkansas and Arkansas State basically just said they want me, since they can’t offer me a full blown scholarship as a sophomore,” Frazier explained.
Frazier has his eyes set on Alabama first, Louisiana State University second, and the Razorbacks third.
“I plan on going to a camp this summer, which if I do good, could put me in the eyes of LSU and Alabama,” said Frazier. “Coach Wood and Coach Moreland keep me on task and in line on my goal of playing in college.”
A recruiter from Notre Dame Fighting Irish came to practice to view Frazier and other players. Frazier’s talent has began to be noticed nationwide, and eyes will be on him in the 2012 season as a junior.
As a sophomore Frazier is being treated and getting offers as if he was a senior. Frazier has a bright future laid out in front of him.
