After playing the Bentonville Tigers on Tuesday night, the Wildcats have yet to win a conference game (0-4).
The Wildcats kept pace with the Tigers for most of the first half. At halftime the Wildcats were only down by 7.
Coming out of halftime Har-Ber stopped a short run by Bentonville and senior gaurd, Jacob Berry hit a set of 3 pointers to put the Wildcats within single digits again.
“After I hit the back-to-back threes, I felt like we had a chance with momentum on our side again,” said Berry.
The Wildcats fell short in the fourth quarter, being outscored 8-15, and lost 44-62.
Friday Har-Ber hopes to get a conference victory against Northside.
“Northside is 1-3 in conference,” said Berry, “so I think we have a good chance of winning.”
“If we win two out of our next three conference games, we’ll have some momentum going into the second phase of conference,” said junior forward Alex Rice.
