With history in the making most likely, the Packers are on a 12-0 regular season and fresh off a Super Bowl Title. There is speculation that might go undefeated and repeat as Super Bowl Champions. I caught up with Packers’ fans Coach Tim Aynes, Joey Reynebeau, Haley Reynebeau, and Colin Richardson.
Joey, Haley, and Colin thought the Packers would finish undefeated, but Coach Aynes projected just one loss on the season. Since there is possibility of a loss, we had to know who would be there toughest opponent. Either the Lions, Bears, Raiders, or Chiefs. One person said Bears at home, one said Lions, one said Lions or Bears and the other said Raiders if Darren McFadden was healthy.
Still if these teams are good; Green Bay has a leader like no other. Aaron Rodgers. He has been a very consistent quarterback this year which makes many people believe no other team has a chance to even keep up with the Packers. Though, every team still has a weak point. Now Green Bay does not really have weaknesses, just inconsistencies like receivers dropping the ball, the defense’s “bend but don’t break” policy, and turnovers. Do consider injuries at the left tackle, middle linebacker, and strong safety. As long as Rodgers stays healthy, it will take more than a few lucky plays to beat the Packers. Just ask other teams.
Green Bay has had a few close games this year, and the playoffs are soon approaching putting on the pressure. It is believed other teams could be ready for them come Super Bowl time this football season. Three of the four people asked said an AFC opponent like the Steelers or Patriots. While two out of three said the Patriots. Coach Aynes said the Patriots because of “coaching and quarterback.” Patriots still do not necessarily scare Packers fans.
Coach gave them a 70 percent chance of Super Bowl victory. Colin Richardson and Joey Reynebeau gave them an 80 percent chance and Haley Reynebeau gave them 100 percent chance of Super Bowl victory!
Too far to tell yet, but even next year could be a marvelous year for the Packers. Though odds do seem to go down just a little.
