The Lady Wildcats won three straight games leading up to the state tournament. The win against Springdale Oct. 18 gave them a fourth seed in the final showdown and capped off Senior Night with style.
“Tuesday and Thursday went very well. We had two of our easier teams, but I think we played very well together and improved,” said senior Katie Huff.
On Thursday the Wildcats played against Rogers. The varsity continued to improve in all areas and are becoming very consistent in their amount of wins. The final scores against the Roger’s Mounties were 25-15, 25-16, 25-18.
“It was a great night to be a Lady Wildcat,” said sophomore Sydney Breathitt.
The team played the last conference game Oct. 18 against the Springdale Bulldogs.
“We are so ready to play. This is a very big game,” said senior Katie Huff. “ It is senior night, and our last game before state. So I hope a lot of people show up.”
