The Har-Ber Wildcats (3-19, 2-6) went Feb. 8 into their cross town rivalry game versus the Springdale Bulldogs off it’s first conference victory, and came away with another one, starting a two game winning streak for the Wildcats.
Jacob Berry led the Wildcats in the scoring column with 14 points and did not miss a shot from the field.
“I was just feeling it. I got the student section into it to keep the momentum going our way,” said Berry.
For the Wildcats this game is one that could give them enough momentum to make it to the state playoffs.
“This is a huge win for us,” Berry said. “They are the #1 team in the 7A West, and we just took them down.”
On Friday, if weather permits, the Wildcats will take on conference rival, Rogers, in Wildcat Arena.
