What do you do during class? Eat, sleep, talk, draw, or play on your phone? This will not help you towards your academic career. What would happen if your teacher was telling you some important information that will later on help you in life, but you were on your phone texting your best friend about what you are going to do after school. You would not know what to do.
Technology has to be one of the biggest distractions in a high school classroom in this day in age. It has gotten to the point that the rule for cell phones are first defense you get Saturday school, the second offense is three days ISS, third is one day of OSS.
Your phone is a distraction to your peer and teachers. For example, if your phone goes off in the middle of class, everybody hears. And then you will be sitting in Saturday school.
If you are suppose to do something on the computer, you better think twice before you get on the wrong websites. The computers filters out nonacademic or inappropriate sites, so that you cannot get on the bad websites and be distracted during class.
If you know what is best, just leave your phone in your car or just don’t get it out during class because what you learn in class will effect you in later life. You are only limiting what you learn in class when you use your phone.
