“They always invite us back. Some people they don’t, but they always invite us back,” said FCCLA sponsor Libby Smith.
The FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) students continue to give back to the community and gain community service hours while enjoying playing bingo with the resident s at the Culpepper Place Assisted Living Center Dec. 18.
Eight members were involved along with teacher Mrs. Smith in playing bingo with the residents. The students brought candy and other treats that were passed out to the winners instead of the usual prizes which would include granola bars or fruit.
The FCCLA students had fun participating in the game with the residents and love going back.
Junior Kelsey Scroggins, who participated in the service event, said, “I loved it. They were really funny.”
