Individuality is rare in high school. Occassionally a tall person in a batman sweater with batman ears on his hood may walk past. A young man with a mohawk and piercings on his eyebrow and upper and lower lips my smile at you in the rotunda.
Daniel Vignone loves Batman, and it’s no surprise to see him wearing Batman gear.
“Adam West is the best,” said Vignone, whose motivation is to make others laugh. And he’s prepared for any criticism.
“I have hater blockers like Snookie,” he said.
In his efforts to establish his individuality, he takes it all in stride.
“I usually just get stares,” he said. “Sometimes I get laughs and sometimes I get compliments.”
While Vignone wants to make people laugh, other individuals have a different goal in mind.
Anthonio Alvarez got a mohawk and piercings to “get chicks.”
“It’s my style,” said Alvarez, who isn’t concerned by what other’s think.
Whether the goal is to bring smiles or to meet girls, Vignone and Alvarez turn some heads.
