Goodbye Rockin’ Chicken, and hello Angus Jack! Upon hearing about this new burger establishment, I was a tad skeptical, for a good burger joint in Springdale has been on hiatus for quite a while. But now, the burgers are back.
Walking into Angus Jack, one is greeted by lime green walls contrasted with red booths. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I actually enjoyed this contrast, and along with the wonderful abstract paintings hanging up, it was a very comforting atmosphere.
Let’s move onto the main event, the food.
Being a connoisseur of all foods, I have tried an abundance of burgers in my seventeen years of existence. I can say with certainty, this is one of the absolute best burgers I’ve ever had! While the menu is not the most expansive, there are four mouth-watering burgers to choose from, along with an array of sauces and condiments to accessorize your burger masterpiece. Now for the only set back, the price. For an average meal of an Original Jack burger, an order of French fries, and a beverage, you’ll have to shell out around $12. To me, that is a bit too much to be forking over to a stranger behind a counter, but it is oh so worth it. One of their signature items, a Jack Frost, is a slushie-type drink in a variety of different flavors, and is very, very delicious!
The customer service is superb, each worker being completely pleasant and helpful with anything you need. To make it even better, your meal is brought out to you by a worker, allowing you and your fellow eaters to relax. While sitting back and waiting for your food, one can enjoy the absolutely fabulous music selection playing throughout the restaurant. From The Band Perry to Mumford and Sons, you’ll be humming along and tapping your foot to help pass the time.
Overall, I was extremely delighted with Angus Jack. I strongly recommend that anyone who loves a good, juicy burger and fries to check this place out!
