“The Walking Dead” Season 2 mid-season premiere broke cable records, when it returned Feb. 12, to more than 8 million viewers. “The Walking Dead” was up against some stiff competition when the Grammy’s were being aired at the same time as the popular zombie hit tv show.
“The Walking Dead” still had an impressive amount of viewers. This show was based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics. Season two of these hit series continue to deliver the strongest telecast for any drama in basic cable history.
Once again the zombie thriller is at its finest. The new episode released on Sunday created more drama and mystery to the show. One of the main characters, Rick, changed his personality when meeting some other humans wanting to join group at the farm.
Usually Rick’s character, played by Andrew Lincoln, is calm and focuses on keeping his temper under control, but at the end of this episode he releases his anger and becomes a totally different person.
Also, during the episode of “The Walking Dead” Lori was involved in an unexpected car accident, the surviving group had a burial service for the ‘walker’ Sophia, and Hershel is going through a depression because the lost of his family members.
