If you logged on to Twitter at any point following the first 30 seconds of the Super Bowl on Sunday night, then you were well aware of the varying yet strong opinions of the half time show. The entertainment consisted of Madonna, LMFAO, Cee Lo Green, MIA, and Nikki Manaj.
“It was definitely one of the best, if not the very best, I’ve ever seen,” said junior Conner Kronberg.
Everyone already had their mind set on how it would turn out before it even took place.
“The best part was that it wasn’t expected to be good, but it was,” said Kronberg.
Some people even felt the need to give props to Madonna for more than just her talent.
“I really liked it, and I thought Madonna did really well for her age,” said sophomore Bayley Palmer.
However, not everyone felt the sympathy for her age.
“She was way too old to be up there trying to dance,” said sophomore Kylie Watkins. “Personally, I thought it was very disappointing and I hope next year is better.”
Not everyone can say they exactly “L-U-V-Madonna!”.
“Yeah she’s talented, but that is not the type of music that I enjoy…at all,” said sophomore Makayla McFerrin. “I think the best part was when Nikki Manaj rapped for the whole five seconds.”
