The most anticipated game of the season dropped on the shelves 11.8.11, marking the date when the best-selling franchise came out with their seventh game, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.
The game costs around $60.00 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC (Personal Computer) and around $50.00 for Wii players. Stores sold between 5 million to 6 million copies on the first day. Others think that’s low; some have estimated first-day sales of 9.3 million copies. The game is rated M for mature.
It’s the third out of the Modern Warfare series. Unlike the others, this one is supposed to resemble World War III. The attacking on America, France, Germany, Somalia, and Siberia is pretty much the main focus. The atmosphere is like the world is ending around you. It’s a First Person Shooter (FPS) and gamers will be pleased to hear that the campaign mode still features the diabolical team Captain John Price and John “Soap” MacTavish.
The Campaign mode wastes no time in getting you into action with explosions going on all around you and your partner throwing a gun into your hands. You are immediately put into the center of the action.
Also the special-ops has been reinvented with an all new survival mode.
The multiplayer has some new features as well. The ranking system goes up to level 80 now. Also there are many new game modes, guns, titles and emblems, and an all new feature that allows you level up your guns on multiplayer.
The game is fun and very entreating so far. I recommend this game to the fans that enjoyed Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2.
