Highs
Sophomore Jonathon Acosta said, “ I liked Nikki Manaj and what she was wearing,”
Senior Taylor Passomore said, “I was looking forward to seeing Justin Beiber. I was excited to see him win his award. I love Justin Beiber.”
Junior Alexee Kopta said, “I liked them all, Lady Gaga was my favorite. I expected Justin Beiber to win because of how many people like him.”
Mrs. Chantelle Rateliff, who teaches Advertising and Design classes, said, “I thought the most creative part was the black carpet. I never watch red carpets, but I watched this one.”

Lows
Junior Bridget Burton said, “They were just awful, the songs didn’t last long, the costumes were bad, Lady Gaga was a dude, you didn’t even know who the people were that won the awards, the movie clip (The Hunger Games) was awful, the Price Tag girl (Jesse J) only sang for like two seconds then they cut to commercial.”
Junior Peyton Squires said, “I didn’t like what Justin Beiber was wearing. And that they picked Tyler the Creator over Wiscalifa.”
Junior Haylee Couch said, “ I was disappointed with Lady Gaga’s performace as a man. That really didn’t please me.”
Junior Lindsey Purdun said, “ Im really disappointed in Lady Gaga’s outfit.”
Junior Natalie Irvin said, “ The VMA’s were overall fun to watch but what caught my eye was the weird host. I couldn’t figure out what they were.”
Senior Zoie Piazza, “ The ending (Lil Wayne’s performance) disappointed me.
