After a full year of promo, hype single releases, music video cameos, (from Far East Movement’s “Like a G6”),and releasing a free 22 track mix-tape, Nick Cannon’s protégé, Colette Carr, was finally ready to release her first single, “(We Do It) Primo,” on May 10th via iTunes.
Produced by label mate and friend, Frankmusik, her song carries that clean-positive vibe that no one can resist. This song also contains a sample from Keane’s “Somewhere Only We Know.”

The new single is a fresh new beat that is perfect for jamming out to on a Friday night with friends. It has such a summer anthem feel to it. Colette Carr is a great, free-spirited artist and it new to the music industry. She stays close to her fan by “tweeting” them back on Twitter and works hard for what she has.
The first time I heard (We Do It) Primo I instantly felt like dancing. It is much better than most of the mainstream beats on the radio these days. I hope to hear Colette Carr on the radio in the near future.
