Seriously? Okay come on. We have Facebook users, people always tweeting about things that nobody really cares about. Even Youtube is considered to be a social media networking web sight.
The majority of these social networking sights have apps for the casual smart phone like the iPhone and Droid. Some phones now are made and programmed with actual Facebook and Twitter buttons so that your status can be updated and the most urgent tweets can be posted in a matter of seconds with a flick of a finger.
Well, here come the newest way to take up your attention with social media networking. It’s called PATH. PATH is a social media network that is APP based only that can be downloaded for free from any smart phone. PATH isn’t about the Emails or uploading picture albums but instead you can only load ten seconds of video at a time.
This way you can upload the epic moments and share them with friends who have to have a PATH account.
PATH is just another thing that needs to be updated. It’s great to have friends and to communicate with them but creating another account for another social network is asinine. We already have Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, and Google+. That just seems like enough statues updates and picture and video uploads to me.
It’s pointless because all you can do is upload ten seconds of video. You can’t even pull the video off of your media gallery from your iPhone or Droid. It all has to be shot while you’re logged into the account and directly upload it to the account. Also, the video quality that is uploaded isn’t very good.
It doesn’t matter how good the camera is that you used to take the video. It uploads and plays with semi bad quality.
There are 800 million Facebook users and there are 326 million Twitter users. In total that’s 1,126 social networking users updating statuses. Before we know it people will be complete social network zombies. And with the introduction of PATH, it’s just giving more people more ways to waste their time.
