Breakfast! Breakfast could truly be said to be the most important meal of the day. I think it is crucial for everyone to eat breakfast. It is hard enough to get up to the annoying sound of the alarm clock especially after snoozing it for the third time. But by then you know that you are running late.
The days that I know I am running late I automatically think about how I am not going to be able to eat a proper breakfast. Then I proceed to pack myself a snack to eat later that morning. Eating just a simple snack such as a granola bar or a pop tart makes a world of difference.
The mornings that I forget to pack a snack are the worst. Sitting in class listening to the growling sounds of my stomach along with my peers is not fun. When there is a test that means that there is going to be silence in the room. I always dread the days when my stomach growls and everyone stares. When my stomach growls, I immediately look up to see if anyone is staring.
Eating in class is an issue that has been addressed a few times. There are people who are opposed to it and then there are people who are for it. I find it important the students get to eat and even if it means eating a snack in class.
Breakfast is what gets most people going. I always feel more prepared for a test the day I eat a breakfast. Even studies show that eating a breakfast keeps you more focused throughout the day.
