In some schools when the principal is out because of a serious illness of injury the school gets pretty chaotic. Not at Har-Ber. Principal Danny Brackett has three fractured vertebra in his Thoracic vertebra, the middle segment of the vertebral column.
“I should be gone for at least two weeks, up to six weeks,” Dr. Brackett said.
The other principals, Mr. Aaron Harris, Dr. Michael Shepherd, and Mrs. Shannon Tisher, are taking over his responsibilities. Dr. Shepherd took over the ciriculum duties, Mrs. Tisher has taken over the personel duties, and Mr. Harris has taken over the financial duties.
“I don’t think anything will go wrong because we are still in contact,” Dr. Shepherd said.
There doesn’t seem to be any worry that something will go wrong with Dr. Brackett out. Dr. Shepherd thinks thing will go smoothly.
“We work well together as a team,” Dr. Shepherd said.
Dr. Brackett trusts the seniors to help things go well while he is gone. He also trusts the teachers to keep the emphasis on learning in each classroom. He also misses being at school.
“I’ll miss watching the Wildcats in classrooms, activities, and athletics. I also miss the interaction I have with the great professionals at Har-Ber High School,” Dr. Brackett said.
