SPRINGDALE, Ark. (October 28, 2010) – The Har-Ber High School EAST
students collaborated with the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk 2010 event in
Arvest Ball Park in Springdale Arkansas on September 11, 2010 and was held
from 9:00am to Noon. This event was an opportunity for the students of
Har-Ber EAST to show teamwork and responsibility. The EAST students
participated by stuffing goodie bags, setting up sponsor booths,
registering participants, assisting with set up and clean up of the event.
They also assisted in selling t-shirts that would help the cause. They
also videotaped and photographed the event to create a photo gallery and a
video overview of the event. This event was a huge success; approximately
1,000 people attended the walk. The 2010 Memory Walk raised $43,745
dollars that will help research for a cure for Alzheimer’s.
