Millions of viewers tune in twice a week to watch their favorite show, “American Idol.”
There are two reasons why I watch “American Idol.”
First is to hear my favorite contestants sing. Second is to hear the criticism and praise from the beloved judges.
When someone says “American Idol,” I automatically think of Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson.
I’ve always thought “American Idol” was an extraordinary show, felt that it truly recognized talent and gave everyone who wanted to pursue singing a shot at his or her dream. Now with two of the judges gone, I wonder what “American Idol” has store for us.
Season nine continued without Abdul, as she was replaced by Ellen DeGeneres. Though watching “American Idol” wasn’t the same, still Jackson and Cowell were there.
Season 10 is here and now it’s going to continue without Cowell.
Without Abdul and Cowell, I wonder if the show will maintain its popularity.
I’m still going to watch season 10 because I wonder how the new judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler are going to do. I’m curious to see if the show’s popularity is going to decrease.
Are the same numbers of people still going to audition? How many viewers are there going to be?
“American Idol” is going to be lost without Cowell. Cowell took the show to its ultimate height, and now I wonder if the new judges will be able to maintain that.
